Everyday Stories
Our website had a page titled Everyday Stories, where we wrote down our experiences while working with the children at Kidwai.
This page has now moved to the blog, so that we can update easily. It also has a new name.
Our Website Graduates
For those who noticed the two new icons on our home page -

We got our site checked by the World Wide Web Consortium, who basically set all the guidelines for Web designers. (They rule the web.)
Their software found our site to be up to the mark. It should also work fine in any browser.
Global Peace Games-19th sept
We are going to be represented at the 2009 Global Peace Games for Children and Youth, at Bangalore. It is being held at Banaswadi- Maruti sevanagar, on the 19th of Sept.This is a whole day event with games such as football, hockey and other stall games. Everyone is welcome to participate. This will help us raise funds too.
Birthday Party!
We will have a birthday party for all the children at Kidwai whose birthdays are in August. The party will be on the 6th of September (a Sunday) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kapoor Ward of Kidwai Hospital. Anyone willing to contribute (cash only) is welcome to do so. No food items please. For details please contact Manjari at the Foundation.
Trust Registration
Samiksha Foundation- Caring for Children with Cancer is now a registered trust. It was registered and accepted on the 7th of August 2009 at Koramangala, Bangalore, India.
The application for the Income tax exemption for donations has been made.
Meeting on 15th
The volunteers meeting earlier scheduled on 14th August will now be held on the 15th.

Flu Alert
Due to the current H1N1 alert issued by the government, our activities at Kidwai will be scaled down for the next two weeks. This is keeping in mind the safety of both the volunteers and the children. Anyone who chooses to go there on their own will be doing so at their own risk.

Volunteer’s Meeting on Aug 14
We will have a meeting for all our volunteers who are currently active at Kidwai Memorial on Friday, August 14. This meeting will be to schedule our activities and volunteers’ time commitments at the paediatric ward, for the months of September and October.
