Sponsorships are required for the following:

Education Sponsorship

Support Samiksha Foundation’s core work – continuing the children’s education during their course of treatment – through our Education sponsorship Program. We ask for a small individual commitment – only Rs. 1500 per year! This covers the cost of education for one child at the hospital ward for one month. Add Rs.500 and we can build a scholarship fund for the children going to high school and college post discharge.

Sign up here to join as a donor and we’ll be in touch: http://goo.gl/forms/9G4GSj5gYT

You choose what day of the year to donate on, how long to renew this commitment, whether you want to donate more, and if you would like to donate on behalf of children (Little Donors) in your family.

Very flexible, but with a considerable impact! Please spread the word, and share this with others who might be willing to contribute. Thank you!

The basic cost of one child’s education is Rs. 1500 per month. We support 95 children at this time.

Projects Requiring Sponsorship

  • A dedicated office space of our own about 1500 sqft built up, indoor/outdoor transition spaces in Bangalore. This requires large investments for rental and infrastructure. Any offers to provide an actual space would also be welcomed. We need this for our administrative work and also for our orientations for volunteers and donors
  • Educational activities that are presently being conducted at inpatient wards at oncology hospitals in Bangalore, as described under Education Sponsorship above. Most of the children at Samiksha are from the lower economic strata of society, and often seek sponsors for their treatment and education. In addition to our education programmes, Samiksha tries to help these families by finding donors for them.
  • Recreational activities:  every month we celebrate our children’s birthdays in the ward with entertainment, activities and small gifts. This costs us about Rs. 18000/- for 95 children. We need a sponsor for this every month.
  • Funds for improvement of facilities for the children at the Samiksha centre at Kidwai Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Maintenance of our children’s play area costs us about Rs. 5000/- per  month.
  • Funds for expansion to other paediatric wards in Bangalore.
  • Building our corpus to make our mission sustainable.
